Term 1 assembly, held in the Library. This term we are holding a parent session from 1:30-2pm about the recent curriculum changes and how the school is implementing them.
The annual interschools epro8 event is happening at Nelson Intermediate school from 12pm-3pm on Wednesday September the 3rd. This year it will just be for year 6 students.
Regionwide fun day organised by TDC at Moturoa (Rabbit Island) - for year 5/6 room 1 kids. 9:30am-2:30pm. More info has gone home via Shaun.
Swimming sports at GBHS pool, for kids in room 1 who can swim a length of the GB high school pool.
An optional event for Room 1 students. Shaun will be in touch with the parents of those who are going.
Kahui Ako scrabble tournament, optional event for year 5/6s.
Held in the school library. All welcome for the public section of the meeting.
Tasman District Council, Mana Whenua ki Mohua, Department of Conservation, Predator Free Onetahua and Alan McLean are working together to offer schools a unique opportunity to spend a day out on Onetahua – learning about this unique environment and the whales that sometimes die there.
Annual interschool football tournament held at the rec park.
Interschool Miniball Comp after school every Tuesday in Term 3. Years 3-4 play at the TPS hall, Years 5-6 play at Rec Centre Gym.
